Ahh hot chocolate- every time I get to my friend's house (the author of the wonderful GM Notebook blog see link), she always makes me a hot chocolate!! Cream, marshmallows and coco dust, the best cure for a weary head that anyone could ask for :3

Loch Ness - April 2011

 Just as the car turned a corner, this became our first peek of Loch Ness, and on such a perfectly clear day, the view was astonishing.

 We stopped for awhile on the side of a quiet road to get these pictures, and because it was an unusually warm day, for Scotland anyway :)

 This was actually from me trying to get a picture of the two ducks that were looking expectantly at us from the Loch, but never mind!!

 I've no idea what this plant is, but it was everywhere around Loch Ness, but it's sunshine-yellow leaves looked glorious in the sunlight, I had to get a photo

Okay, I know this is a dandelion, and most people hate them, but I thought it had caught the light quite well in this picture...

 Two deer I saw running past the car in Scotland, we stopped the car so I leant out the window and took the picture, the first three were blurry but this one came out almost perfect :)

Supposedly the most haunted castle on the Isle of Wight,but I never met one of the inhabiting ghosts, unless you count the numerous actors who threw plastic heads and flat-pack skeletons at the crowd. All in all, very entertaining, most especially the walk through the dungeon at the end when people jumped out of the fog. Never screamed so much in my life!!

Just recently seen 'The Hunger Games'!! I would really recommend it, it's thought provoking and powerful. The dystopian setting unsettled me a little, the fact that such a thing is possible is quite worrying, but it's a great film and Josh Hutcherson is gorgeous in my opinion :D

This is one of the dogs I've looked after. She's one of the cutest things ever in my opinion and protects our house with wonderful vigor. Here she's just heard the postman, and you can see the surprise and tension on her face :3

Last year I went to one of the places where the original Pride & Prejudice series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle was shot, the beautiful Lyme Park. It was such a beautiful shot of the house that I had to share it.
